Roisin has extensive experience as a facilitator, educator and mentor, with a strong focus on supporting curiosity, creativity and confidence in emerging artists and young people.
She is a guest lecturer and visiting director at the University of Exeter, Falmouth University’s Academy of Music and Theatre Arts, and on University of the Arts London Diplomas, as well as a regular returning practitioner with the Minack Academy, Hall for Cornwall Young Company and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She has also held roles in artist development and outreach at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Salisbury Playhouse and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she has supported the growth of young artists both pastorally and professionally.
Her facilitation work spans workshops in directing, devising, playwriting and audition technique, as well as bespoke projects designed to make theatre accessible to diverse communities. She regularly works with SEND groups and takes a individualised approach to meeting needs. She has mentored emerging theatre-makers through festivals, commissions and training initiatives, and many of her students have gone on to gain places at leading drama schools.
Roisin is passionate about regional voices and the next generation of theatre-makers, and continues to deliver training and development opportunities across the South West and nationally.
